Sports injuries in kids

The answer is A.

According to the National Safe Kids Campaign, almost two-thirds -- 62 percent -- of injuries from organized sports happen during practice, not during the games. Even so, many parents don't take the risk of injury as seriously during those practices, the Safe Kids group says.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urge parents to take their children to the doctor for a physical exam before playing a sport, and to make sure their children wear all safety gear at practices and games. It may be "just practice," but kids on the softball and baseball diamonds should always have their helmets on when batting, waiting "on deck" to bat, or running the basis.
