Women facing breast cancer often have two choices: getting a mastectomy or breast-conserving surgery.
According to a recent survey directed by researchers at the University of Michigan, breast cancer patients should speak with a general surgeon about breast reconstruction surgery.
In our Doc Chat with Sound Medicine's Kathy Miller, we hear that the breast reconstruction option is complicated, with different results and risks.
