Indiana University neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor is a tireless advocate for brain donations for purposes of research. Earlier this month she was selected as one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.
She talks with Barbara Lewis about the importance of brain tissue donation and the Harvard Brain Bank.
Sound Medicine highly recommends Bolte Taylors book, My Stroke of Insight: A Brain Scientist's Personal Journey, a book about insights she gained from experiencing and recovering from a stroke.
