Robert Hornik, PhD, of the Annenberg School of Communications, found that a $1 billion federal media campaign aimed to keep kids off drugs -- failed miserably.
With Sound Medicine's Dr. David Crabb, Hornik discusses the federal campaign and his findings that it had little or no positive effect. In fact, the campaign actually had a "boomerang" effect, actually causing kids to initiate drug use.
