Chair, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology
Director, National Center of Excellence in Women's Health
IU School of Medicine

Because there are so many possible causes for pelvic pain, and because there are no medications developed exclusively for that condition, we don't hear about it much.

But we hear about it today as Barbara Lewis chats with Indiana University gynecologist Lee Learman.

In his discussion, Dr. Learman clarifies misconceptions about pelvic pain. For example, he says modern radiography is not a good tool for diagnosing the actual cause of a woman's pelvic pain.

Dr. Learman chairs the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the IU School of Medicine.
