Interview: Eric Meslin, PhD
Director, IU Center for Bioethics

One of the biggest bioethical stories to hit the news this year has been the case the Octomom, a California woman named Nadya Suleman, who gave birth to octuplets after being treated at a fertility clinic.

A sign that this case crossed the bioethical "line" is that the story has proved too controversial even for American reality TV. But don’t fear: a British production company is currently working on its own "Octomom" series.

Today our resident bioethicist Dr. Eric Meslin considers just why Nadya Suleman raised so much controversy.
