Another group facing health challenges during this recession: folks who lose their job.

And what's even worse: a new study finds that being laid off can actually make you sick, and those findings were independent of whether a person lost health insurance at the same time.

Sound Medicine's Dr. Kathy Miller spoke with that researcher: Kate Strully, a sociologist at the State University of New York in Albany.
