Interview: Bryce Mackie, film maker
Director, "Eternal High"
The film "Eternal High," is an unsparing look at depression and suicide in young adults.
Bryce Mackie was 17 years old when he made this 12-minute documentary, which played at the Sundance Film Festival and won 25 awards.
Now, Mackie is 20 years old, a college sophomore, and working on his second film, about bipolar disorder. He joins host Barbara Lewis to talk about his work and his own struggles with mental illness.
Mackie is the keynote speaker at a conference called the "Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance" in Indianapolis on Saturday, Sept. 12.
