Interview: Nina Bambina, PhD
Sociologist, University of Southern Indiana
A technology that's probably second-nature to those medical students is catching on among their grandparents’ age group.
The AARP reports that about one third of people age 75 and older now live alone, which has led to a growing demand for online social network sites such as Facebook among older users.
Our next guest has been studying that trend. Nina Bambina is a sociologist at the University of Southern Indiana.
She’s the author of the scholarly work, Online Social Support, and today she speaks with Sound Medicine's Dr. Steve Bogdewic.
