We were warned about this last spring: that when fall arrived, the H1N1 flu virus would come back, too.
Supplies of the new vaccine are finally beginning to be available around the country now.
And not a moment too soon: Hospitals are reporting a spike in the number of flu cases coming through the doors, both H1N1 and seasonal flu.
And there are reports that 90% or more are the new strain. Here to tell us what’s being done to manage this wave of H1N1 flu is Dr. Douglas Webb, an epidemiologist and director of infection control at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
