Interview: Nathan Wolf, PhD, microbiologist and visiting professor at Stanford University

Malaria has plagued people for thousands of years. And we have no way of preventing it via vaccine. But that may soon change. Virus hunter Nathan Wolfe believes he’s solved the mystery of where malaria originated -- a discovery that could lead to a cure.

Sound Medicine's Dr. David Crabb talks with Nathan Wolfe about his research.

Wolf is a microbiologist and visiting professor at Stanford University. He is also director of the Global Viral Forecasting Initiative.
