The FDA and the EPA have joined forces to protect the water supply from contamination by prescription drugs.
Today Barbara Lewis chats with Suzanne Rudzinski, the EPA's Deputy Director in the Office of Science and Technology.
Rudzinsky says that the agency is responding to the discovery that chemicals from some medications have been found in trace amounts in some of the nation's drinking water.
