Interview: Rori Gallagher, radio producer
Derek McGinnis, Navy veteran, amputee, and triathlete
It’s Memorial Day weekend, a time when Americans honor the sacrifices of our nation’s military.
In that vein, freelance producer Rori Gallagher brings us our next story: of an Iraq war veteran Derek McGinnis, who sustained an above-the-knee amputation. He's used exercise to cope with chronic pain and become a triathlete.
Now McGinnis helps others overcome the same challenges.
