Interview: Nneka Leiba, MPH, environmental health researcher, Environmental Working Group, Washington, D.C.

One out of five U.S. households now uses a cell phone instead of a land line.

And while the FCC, the FDA, the American Cancer Society, and the National Cancer Institute have ALL found NO link between cell phone use and cancer -- still, the questions persist.

The non-profit Environmental Working Group recently published a report ranking cell phones by how much radiation they emit.

Today Sound Medicine’s Dr. Kathy Miller speaks with Nneka Leiba, an environmental health researcher based in Washington, to learn why that group is calling for more, and longer-term, studies about the safety of cell phone use.
