Interview: Karl MacDorman, adjunct associate professor of engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Purdue University
Okay, we’re going to make a leap now, between medical ethics -- and avatars, be they blue, or some other color.
We were intrigued by a new study that looks at how humans relate to the computer-generated beings called avatars -- and how this might play a role in how doctors relate to patients and make ethical decisions.
So today, Sound Medicine’s David Crabb speaks with study’s authors: Karl MacDorman, PhD, associate professor in the Human-Computer Interaction Program at the School of Informatics at IUPUI.
