Interview: Marjorie Albohm, MS, ATC, certified athletic trainer
President, National Athletic Trainer’s Association

It’s been a hot summer in most parts of the country, and the heat isn’t over yet.

Couple that with two-a-day sports practices that are common this time of year for young athletes, and you’ve got the makings of heat illness and dehydration.

Today Barbara Lewis chats about heat and health problems with Marje Albohm, president of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association. Albohm has suggestions for parents and coaches to protect athletes.
