Now, college students and learning.
A report presented at a recent meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine found that college students who regularly engage in vigorous exercise get better grades.
That link, between exercise and learning, had been shown for children in elementary and middle school years, but this is the first time that college students have been the focus of this type of research.
Kathy Miller speaks with the research team's leader, Joshua Ode, PhD, a professor in the department of kinesiology at Saginaw Valley State University.
