Interview: Greg Gramelspacher, MD, Director, Palliative Care Services, Wishard Hospital, Indianpolis
Some years ago, Indianapolis-based palliative care specialist Greg Gramelspacher, MD, began taking photos of his dying patients. At first, the photos were a way to remember them. Over time, his photos have become a way for him to tell his patients' stories -- in particular those he's had the privilege to help die "a good death."
Dr. Gramelspacher elaborates on his photo project and tells the story of a patient called "Cowboy" and his dog "Cowgirl."
Dr. Gramelspacher directs Palliative Care Services at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
