Interview: Sound Medicine reporter Eric Metcalf

We begin today with one of our own reporters, Eric Metcalf, and a close call he recently experienced with his six-year-old son, Milo.

Milo fell and suffered a concussion while playing kickball on the playground. The experience taught Eric a lot. For one thing, concussions can easily occur in young children.

And, after talking to concussion experts, Metcalf learned key facts about recognizing and treating concussions properly.
