Continuing this week's Patient Listening discussion of adoption, Dr. Rich Frankel hears another view, from new parent Angie Rollins. Angie is a single mom from Indianapolis. She is a clinical psychologist who works with people with severe mental illness. When Angie received word that her 9-month-old baby girl, named Sasha, was about to arrive, she piled into the car along with her mother, stepfather and a friend, and made the three-hour drive to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. She told Patient Listening host Rich Frankel that they waited five hours for the family’s lawyer to bring Sasha through customs.
