Interview: Dan Greenbaum, president and CEO
Health Effects Institute, Boston

This week, we spend the hour focusing on ways the environment affects human health.

We begin with the pervasive problem of air pollution and the approximately one million American children living with asthma.

To learn how pollution is harming kids' respiratory health, Sound Medicine's Dr. David Crabb speaks with Dan Greenbaum, president and CEO of the Boston-based Health Effects Institute, a non-profit organization focused on informing the public about the health effects of air pollution.

Dan Greenbaum will be keynote speaker at this year’s Indiana Environmental Health Summit on Monday, June 6, on the IUPUI campus in Indianapolis.
