Interview: Steve Bogdwic, PhD, psychologist
Sound Medicine co-host
Executive associate dean for faculty affairs,
IU School of Medicine
When it comes to another health problem - obesity - the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid announced recently that they will start paying for obesity screening and intensive behavior counseling.
That decision could set the stage for private insurers to consider covering the same services.
Host Barbara Lewis asks Sound Medicine's resident psychologist Dr. Steve Bogdewic what he thinks of the upcoming change.
In addition to being a regular co-host here on Sound Medicine, Dr. Steve Bogdewic is an Executive Associate Dean of the Department of Medicine at the IU School of Medicine.
