A recent study found that raisins were a beneficial snack for school aged children because children who consumed raisins ate less afterwards compared to children who consumed potato chips and cookies as a snack. Raisins also boast healthy benefits such as high amounts of iron and antioxidants as well as the potential to lower blood pressure.
